blood on my phlegm HELP

i need help, 5 days ago i start having colds, 2nd day i had fever till the 3rd day, 4th and until today there's blood stain in my phlegm both from my nose and my mouth, could it be ptb? is it contagious? im a smoker and have been really stress lately could it be a factor? i dont want to go to a doctor yet for financial reason, im self medicating today i started using ventolin nebules is it a bad thing? 2days ago i was only using vaporizing ointment but it only helps me breath a little easier. please help thanks

Blood in the sputum is something of concern. It maybe nothing at all life threatening but it does need to be medically assessed and the proper treatment followed. Considering that it has happened during an acute illness it could be from inflamed airways. But it might also reflect the seriousness of the infection. Some bacterial infections result in such things. The Ventolin does not treat infection.

You should see a doctor. Your breathing is impaired and your experiencing hemoptysis (coughing up blood). You need to stop using tobacco.
