I am waiting for kidney transplant. Is there any problem if I am kept on dialysis till I get a new kidney

I spend a lot of time in a hemodialysis unit with my brother and I have seen patients that dialyized on the one day and were called the next day for their transplant. I don't remember a problem with any of them

I was on dialysis for 6 1/2 years. This is normal to be on dialysis until you get a transplant.

Infact with my 2nd transplant after the first one failed I even had dialysis after the transplant until the kidney woke up!
