Renal replacement therapy (RRT) is required when the kidneys are functioning at less than 10–15%. RRT is accomplished in one of the following ways:





Dialysis

Hemodialysis
Peritoneal dialysis

Kidney transplant

Cadaver donated
Living-relative donated
