My daughter, who is 16 years old, has Chronic renal failure as of March this year. We are doing home peritoneal dialysis while waiting for a transplant. The current drama we have is that she has high levels of calcium and phosphorous. The only way to control these is by haemodialysis. This means another operation , 14 days + straight of this dialysis, and then see if it can be controlled.

Is there any other way to control these 2 instead of operating again?

We have tried mangnesium and Taurine capsules, as recommended by a naturepath. Are there any concerns with these? We did try 2000mg of Cod Liver oil capsules( hoping that Vit. A would assist). Doctors had concerns of high levels of toxivity.

Any views?

Thank you
