chronic renal failure

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu Mar 06, 2003 6:27 pm

My husband was diognoised with chronic renal failure. His kidneys are functioning at about 47%. His last check up his docter said his kidneys actually look a little better. They said they:ll never come back to 100%. He is really following a very good diet to help protect his kidneys from failing any more. Is it possible that he can stay at 47% for the rest of his life if he keeps doing things right or will he some day have to go on dialisis? He feels great and looks great thats why were concerened about what the future is going to hold. We are under the impression that he can prevent any future damage by taking every prcaution possible to keep him in good health. Please get back too us on this question. Thank you very much, Carol Russell
