Renal artery stenosis

I was told by one cardiologist that I had a right renal stenosis that was too far gone for a stent. I changed doctors and lo and behold my second doctor performed a renal artery angiogram with stent placement.
Although I lost some 25 percent of that kidney’s function the stent revitalized the kidney and my blood pressure is now normal although my creatinine level remains somewhat elevated.
It’s worth the effort to get a second opinion.
