Nephrotic Syndrome

I am a 22 year old female who was just told by my doctor today that I have Nephrotic Syndrome. This is the first time I have ever heard of such a thing. I have been on my computer on and off today for about 4 hours trying to get as much information as I can. I just wanted to know if anyone has and tips for me as far as knowing what kind of questions to ask the nephrologist and any interesting information that anyone might have. I just want to be educated enough to make the best decisions so that I get the right treatment! It has already taken 4 weeks and a lot of testing to get to where I am today! I am thankful that my doctor has figured out what was wrong but I just want to understand this from another patient's view.
