Nephrotic Syndrome

I am looking for some answers...
On May 3,2003 I gave birth to my son(Tyler). When i was 14 weeks preg. the doctors noticed that no one had been able to see his right kidney and after some close study they concluded that he didn't have a right kidney. Also, his left kidney was covered in cysts. We were set up with a great pediatric nephrologist (Dr.Hand) all the best doctors that there are in the state of maine tried everything to help Tyler before and after he was born but he was so small there was nothing that could be done to save his life. They put the cause of death as renal dipgenesis, i was wondering if anyone else out there has heard of this or (god-forbid) gone thru this.ANY information that anyone has would be very helpful.
