Need Help Immediately!

I have a close friend whose kidney functioning went from 90% on December 1, 2003 to 20% on December 31, 2003. She has a variety of unusual symptoms: Began losing her voice...barely audible and must struggle to speak...about 1 year ago. She had Bell's Palsy on one side of her face about 2 year's ago. She complains that since the Bell's Palsy everything has a tin or metallic taste to it. Her doctors were looking into Myasthenia Gravis as a possibility with her voice, but the medication for that has not changed anything. Her kidney failure is sudden and without warning. She is very lethargic and weak. The doctors are now wondering if the kidney failure and her loss of voice are connected in some way. Has anyone heard of anything similar to this in any way? Please e-mail me at JWileyECSE@aol.com if you have any information. Thank you in advance!
