kidney/staph infection

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jan 11, 2005 7:55 pm

my son was bitten by a brown recluse this past summer and developed the MRSA strain of staph. we haven't been able to kill the staph, we get it suppressed but it returns. now his urine shows high smounts of protein, his creatinine level is higher and his kidney dye test showed one kidney significantly smaller than the other. the radiologists/doctors believe the kidney problem is related to injury (football) and not the staph attacking the kidney. can anyone give me any info?
