ARBs

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jul 05, 2005 2:59 pm

I have very early stage kidney involvement from diabetes. The doctor prescribes an ACEI which I coudn't take because of the cough it caused. I have since tried Benicar and then Diovan, both of which produced a cough that was serious enough to interfere with my work and sleep.

I'm curious if all ARBs are so similar as to be likely to produce the same side effect, or if it's worth the time and expense to continue to experiment. My blood pressure is normal, so that is not a problem.

Thank you.
