When I was younger I was on a rather low dose and did fine, but about a year ago, the stress and anxiety I was experiencing was quite overwhelming and I was put on a high dose of Zoloft and was still experiencing mood swings especially during my period, so we added a low dose of bi-polar medication to even that out. I use meditation and prayer together to manage stress . I find that I need guided meditation to fully relax.
