Whenever I drink Green Tea, I soon get a "kidney attack" !!!I am new to this forum, but I had to post about this subject...
I have been struggling with kidney stones for about 15 years. I usually drink coffee, but I I go through phases in which I drink green tea for its antioxidants. In the past 6 months, it seems that every time I drank green tea, the kidney pain followed. The pain was the same as when I passed stones, but I dont have a strainer to know for sure. Is green tea this powerful -that after only a few cups, it can cause kidney stone problems? Has anyone else experienced this?
Re: Whenever I drink Green Tea, I soon get a "kidney attack" !!!Oh my gosh, I just saw this post and I react the SAME way! EVERY time I drink more than a tiny bit of tea I get a kidney stone attack! I sort of wonder if I shouldn't just hunker down for a day and drink tons of tea and get the darn things out! (I have had lithotripsy in one side for the big stones, but the other side has several small "passable" stones remaining). So you aren't alone, I also get this.
