I too have been going through the KIDNEY STONE ordeal and HATE IT! Seems that every 2 years I have a bout with stones. Had a CT scan, which is the best way to detect stones, the other day, it should a 9mm which is too large to pass. Had a stent put in to help aleviate some of the pain and will have my procedure, lipsotripsy, tomorrow. Had a parathyroid tumor removed 3 years ago, this may have been a problem for me. Need to compare my last CT scan against yesterdays to see if it shows more or less to know if my parathyroid tumor was my culprit or not. Good luck on all of you who are experiencing stones.
