Please help.

My very lovely girlfriend has been having kidney stones since she was 8 years old. Her very first one was a 9, at 8 years old. She is now 18 and they're getting worse and worse by the year. In the past 3 months she's had 12 stones, and right now she has around 20 sitting in both kidneys. Big ones. She has a surgery on the average of every two months, and we've tried a lot of things. Vinegar doesn't do anything, but we haven't tried the ACV. We were recommended Aloe Vera juice and that just makes her throw up. Also, another natural root remedy but I'm not sure what that's called. It also makes her throw up. I'm ready to try anything to make her the least bit better. Does anyone have any recommendations?
She's scheduled for surgery Thursday.
It absolutely destroys me to see her in so much agony.
Any help is appreciated.

I read this Easter sunday .
How did she make out??
I would talk to her urologist Thyroid issues? It's a blood test.
Hope shes better....
I tried lemon juice thing helped me pass smaller stones.
Push the doctors to get the anwers you want, like why she's getting so many stones at such a young age....

Thanks so much for replying.
She made it through surgery just fine. They put a stent in, so maybe that would help.
You would think her going to so many doctors for the same issue for the past 10 years would push them to figure something out but they just can't.
But, when she goes to get the stent removed I'm definitely going to talk to him about a thyroid test.
I pray to God that they can give her a simple daily pill to help control them.

Hey I'm glad to hear she's OK.
Questions for the doctors:
1 what kind of stones are they?
2 Change of diet for your girl friend?
3 Uricet or prescription to help her body not create kidney stones.
4 Thyroid test ( blood test)
5 She has to drink more water to flush her kidneys.
What kind of stone is important diet may be it?
My case not drinking enough water but thats big....
Let me know
Good Luck

hi,there i,ve been passing stone,s now for 11 years and can understand how your girlfriend must feel
its hard to describe to anyone who has,nt had a stone just how bad they really are , they take over your life completely and you are always in dread of the next one.
this last easter i passed 4 and was in hospital for all of good friday, while talking to a older nurse there
she told me to look on web about how a large dose of vitamin c can dissolve stones . it suggest 3 large
glass,s of pure orange juice a day will reduce the stones to small grit like particles which are then passed normally.
i have been trying this myself since easter and although you will get a bit of a belly ache i,m prepared
to try anything ,hopefully it might work.
good luck and good health to you both

I dont mean to sound out of line but I would find out what type of stones she has.
I'm not sure I agree with the vitamin c tablet form of c it may cause stones.
I've tried high "citric acid"doses lemon juice ..has the highest.
I have calcium oxalate stones so this may only help me.
Do your research on the web..causes of stones etc.
I've had 9 in 14 yrs sucks.
Change of diet, more water less salt.
Google homeopathic remedies for kidney stones also.
I think I've been on most of them.
Good luck
PS if I'm wrong about vitamin c tabs please correct me..
Good luck!!!!

Thanks for all the replies. She hasn't had any trouble the past couple of weeks, and she goes for a thyroid test next week. I thought about getting her some Uriflow? Has anyone tried that?
