kidney stone bleeding alot... but no real pain?? Help me!!Ok, my lower back has hurt for 6-8months... didn't think much of it, pulled a muscle or a pinched nerve. I'd take Aleve and go on with my day. Needless to say the pain has been quite bad most of the time. One day I thought "maybe I'm drinking too many sodas? I better go to water!". So I went down that avenue for two to three months and began noticing my back didn't hurt every day nor quite as bad. I bet I went 4-6 weeks with no pain at all, no more Aleve! Then one night all of a sudden the pain appeared, but only for that night. 4 days later my urine was pink... oh no a urinary or bladder infection was my first assumption. The next day my urine was even pinker so this time I decided to go to the doctor. They took my urine sample the doctor came in and said "your in pain... you should be on the floor in the fetal position, in all my years being a doctor the highest blood count I've written down is a 3+ ... but you are a 4+"! OK I don't know what all that means besides I did hear her say I had no white blood cells showing (and something else was missing*?*) but I had more blood than urine, in my urine sample!? She diagnosed me with Kidney stone(s). She did not have an explanation for my not having any pain at all when in fact this should be the most painful part. She put my on an antibiotic to clear up the infection and has scheduled me for an IVP. I only have a few more days of the medication to take, but after maybe the 3rd day I did quit bleeding. Now, just this evening I have began bleeding more than before... there is a little pain in the lower back but it just don't feel like that same aching nagging pain. I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, so I do not have menstrual cycles - this is not menstrual. Can anyone out there help me? Is this common? Will I be fine to wait til Monday and go back to the doctor? Yes I'm bleeding but really no pain??? Could this be something else?
