Howdy-

I have had kidney stones before but have never been in this much pain. 3 weeks ago an xray showed 3 kidney stones in my right kidney. We put off litho treatment bc I am taking the bar exam next week. 4 days ago one of the stones started to pass. I have been in extremely bad pain since that time. It hurts to do anything. I have 7 days until I take the Bar exam...doctor believes I can pass it and doesn't want to do anything until after my test. Please give me some advice! I am currently taking flomax and darvacet for the kidney stone. Neither is helping me pass it quicker or easier.

Wow..that stinks!! I'm guessing your stone must be too small for them to want to intervene with.
I hope they gave you some powerful meds!!

DRINK LOTS OF WATER! i was surprised how much drinking water actually helped for passing the stone and for the pain.
