First Steps for peace of mind.......

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

Hello: I am 40 am in perfect health. I am having some worry weekend. While urinating, re seems to be blockage delay while waiting urine to flow. I also feel like I have to urinate frequently. Is re anor possible reason ? Food, stress etc...??? Can kidney stones be passed while ejaculation? re have been two episodes 12/94 & 4/2000 when re blood after ejaculation. symtom disapped immediatly after. Should I visit a urologist? If so, can be done to prevent a kidney stone attack or can I prevent pain associated? can I do myself now to prevent such a painful episode?

First, you do not have a history of stones. Rather, you have some symptoms of either obstruction or prostate infection. This should be evaluated by a urologist. It is not possible to pass a kidney stone during ejaculation since the internal urinary sphincter is tightened and closed at that time. Without a specific history of stones, I do not recommend any specific therapy except reasonable dietary moderation and some extra water.
