creatinine + urea => stones ?

Post a new topicby stf on Sun Mar 22, 2009 7:37 pm

Hello and greetings to all of you coping there with your kidney stones! I hope you all go through it smoothly.

I am having a flu-like infection with some ear complications, and are taking a drug that (according to the leaflet) can lead to increased *creatinine* and *urea* concentration. I think this is my case.

Now I would like to know if this can in turn lead to kidney stones being formed, and to what kind of stones, if so, and what prevention/treatment measures would be best.

I heard that appropriate kidney stones treatment depends on their kind. But I've never had one nor am I a doctor so I am a complete newbie here.

Thanks!
