Accuracy of IVP

I was wondering if anyone knows of the accuracy rate of the IVP. I had a CT scan done about two weeks ago which revealed 3 stones (3mm each). My doctor followed up with an IVP a few days ago which revealed everything is clear. I didn't feel any stone pass and I'm still in extreme pain with spasms throughout my urinary tract. Has anybody had this experience?
