I spent three weeks in pain that made me whimper, and I’m a pretty tough babe. The docs found a uric acid stone with a CT scan and gave me potassium citrate fizzies to bomb the crystal stuck in my ureter part way down, plus Flomax, the stuff used for men with prostate probelms to relax the ureter and open it more to let the thing out. The best way to know if it has passed is to have another ct scan, or you physical hear it splash and see itin the toilet, good luck
