Kidney Infection

Hello, I am 25 yrs... over the last two months I have had two kidney infections... I am now starting to feel that same pain in my lower back and flank... I spoke to my primary care doctor and he suggested I go see a specialist... What could be causing these re-occuring infections?

You should go see s physician or a urologist as soon as you can. I am 22. I have had kidney infections and bladder infections for years. It wasn't until just recently that i found out i had a 22 mm kidney stone, probably caused by my infections. It was at this same time that i began to have horrific lowe back pain. It actually got to the point where i couldn't lift anything upward because it hurt so bad. If you have a kidney stone causing your back pain, you want to catch it in case it is too big before it enters your ureters.
