Scared w/Questions

I am waiting on MRI results and have been doing my own reading. A sonogram showed a "complex heterogeneous mass in the right renal lower pole, which measures 1.4 x 1.4 x 1.3 with possible calcification and no hydronephrosis seen"", which prompted an MRI. From all I have read, it appears that as long as the growth is solid (as mine seems to be), it is always cancer. Is this true? Could it be possible that a solid mass is not cancer? Either way, shouldn't it be removed? I am 48 year old single mother of 2 boys. I am very afraid. Anyone's view and/or experience would be so appreciated.

Thank you and God bless.
