reading ct scanI had the laposcopic surgery 3 months ago and they said all was good my dr passed away but i seen another dr for check up they sent me for scan at different imaging place they say its back and bigger is it possible that since there was nothing to compare to that it could be the place he burned out? The dr now says a biopsy maybe to make sure its not scar tissue. Is this possible to be scar tissue and not the tumor? Things ive read say biopsy is not really good as you can get a false reading easily' I dont know what to think or do at this point.
Re: reading ct scanI read somewhere that RCC is a very slow growing cancer. They waited six months before they removed my kidney and my tumor had barely grown at all. I would be very suprised to hear if your tumor increased in size so fast. You should get everything checked out right away just in case though. As I'm sure you know, this is nothing to play around with. I hope it is just scar tissue. Good luck.
Re: reading ct scanThanks for the reply just good to know someone is out there to listen to ya i guess.I have gone for my pre op and as soon as the radioligist see my films they will set me up a time for the biopsy. It seems awful fast to me I think I need the same dr and radioligist to be looking at my reports because some of my reports had said mid kidney and then some upper pole so i dont know now if their all looking at the same thing. But I will be discussing this with my dr. Its just so bad the dr that did my surgery died.and he was so young . But God's in control I will be going for my biopsy March the 11 they just called will be glad to get it over with.
