Hi it is Christy again. My ex-husband had his surgery on Monday. The post surgical report to point is that the tumor was in his adrenal gland and not his kidney. I think it is fair to say that I have google fever trying to figure out this new scenario. I cannot find anything encouraging about adrenal gland cancer. And feel like we should be expecting a grim report. We are awaiting pathology results now. The tumor was 13cm. The tumor, adrenal gland and one rib were removed. Curious as I investigate if his diabetes could be related to his cancer diagnosis. The american cancer society says that one form of adrenal gland cancer does contribute to diabetes. If anyone has an idea of what is coming next or has dealt with this, I would love to talk. Thanks for listening!
