please advise would a bone scan be more definitive for metistatic lesions then an mri

I suspect a bone scan might be more sensitive (i.e. more false positives), but MRI or CT are likely to be more specific.
It is not rare to achieve 100% certainty despite all non-invasive testing/imaging, and a then a biopsy may be required.
