Kidney stone and kidney cancer

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jul 21, 2002 8:38 pm

Is there a possibility that the kidney stone I developed in my left kidney had any relationship to the cancerous tumor that was subsequently discovered in my right kidney when I had x-rays taken for the stone? That is, could the tumor have stopped the function of the right kidney, the left kidney took up the whole burden and the stone was formed? Within three weeks the right kidney and the tumor were removed by surgery. I had not been bothered by stones previously or since.

Many things are possible, but that scenario is remote.
