I just had a similar experience. Hot weather-Menopause-Vomiting all night long-and by morning my heart went into a irreg. rapid rythym-A-Fib. Called 911 and spent 2 days in th hospital. Cardiologist said I had an Electrolyte Imbalance that caused the A-Fib. Medicine put my heart rate back to normal, but couldn't keep food down for 2 days still. Now I am still off balance when I walk, but otherwise feel ok. Scared me to death! I was never a water drinker, but I am now!
