Chronic dehydrationI have had chronic dehydration for the past 10 years. I am currently 22 years old. I suffer from extremely dry skin, dry mouth, dry stools, headaches and occasional nausea. I drink excessive amounts of water (although I realise this may contribute to the problem) as I am always thirsty with a very dry mouth. I'm not in a position to comment on why you have this condition at such an early stage. However in my own unexpected illness with dehydration / electrolyte imbalance I was told specifically to drink very little, if any water. It makes the condition much worse. I must keep the volume of liquid to 1 - 1.5 litres / day and drink Gatorade as part of that limit. I'm not fond of the solution but it seems to be helping greatly and suggest you try it, rather than all that water. It is all a nuisance for sure. I too find my mouth dry but just sip a bit of Gatorade when it happens. Hope this helps a bit.
